From the outside this place resembles a diner car as the interior offers a nostalgic appeal from the 1950s. The narrow dining room features black-and-white checkered floors, counter seating, booths, a tin roof and metal beer and food signs on the wall. The diner, known around the area as the home of the half-pound burger, is open from early morning to midnight, and even sometimes later. The menu is all over the place with its breakfast, lunch and dinner items. Breakfast for dinner anyone? Breakfast patrons really dig the omelets, home fries, pancakes and French toast. The rest of the menu features salads, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, hot dogs, quesadillas, pasta, steaks and some seafood selections. Be sure to cap off your lunch or dinner with one of the delicious milk shakes. The service is friendly, efficient and never overbearing.
