Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve

Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve is 4 mi. w. off I-75 exit 131 on Daniels Pkwy., then 1.8 mi. n. on Ben Pratt-Six Mile Cypress Pkwy. While walking along a mile-long boardwalk trail visitors can explore the wetland and may observe such inhabitants as turtles, wading birds, otters and alligators. An interpretive center features exhibits. Educational programs are offered.
