Blowing Rocks Preserve

Blowing Rocks Preserve, 574 S. Beach Rd., encompasses a barrier island with dunes, hammocks and mangrove wetlands. The preserve takes its name from the large limestone rock formations against which seawater breaks and may splash upwards of 50 feet. Points of interest include a native plant garden, a boardwalk, an education center with exhibits and three trails.
