AAA Inspector Notes
From the outside this place resembles a diner car while the interior has a nostalgic appeal from the 1950s. The narrow dining room features black-and-white-checkered floors, counter seating, booths, a tin roof and metal beer and food signs adorning the walls. This diner, known around the area as the home of the half-pound burger, is open from the early morning to midnight—and even later on the weekends. The menu is all over the place with its breakfast, lunch and dinner items. Breakfast patrons really dig the omelets, home fries, pancakes and French toast. The rest of the menu features salads, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, hot dogs, quesadillas, pasta, steaks and some seafood selections. Be sure to cap off lunch or dinner with one of the delicious milk shakes. The service is friendly, efficient and never overbearing.
