Little White House Museum, 111 Front St. inside the Truman Annex, is the vacation retreat that Presidents Harry Truman, Dwight Eisenhower and John F. Kennedy used during their administrations. The house has been restored to its 1948 appearance. A 10-minute video introduces visitors to Truman, and a 45-minute guided tour gives insight into both his experiences in Key West and his presidency. Changing exhibits also are offered. The grounds include a 1-acre botanical garden. Guided tours are available.
Grounds and changing exhibits free. Guided tour $15; $13 (ages 62+ and students and active and retired military with ID); $5 (ages 5-12).
Hours: Gardens open daily 6-6. Museum open daily 9-4:30. House tours depart approximately every 20 minutes. Last tour begins at 4:30. Allow 1 hour minimum.
