I love the location and have stayed here sevrral times over the past 30 years. The renovation and name change make it very nice.
Pros: Love the layout of the lobby and pool area.
Cons: Rooms had to much furniture and not enough chairs.

Extremely poor. I would have checked out after one day if I could have gotten my money back.
Pros: The location is the only nice thing about this hotel.
Cons: I have a recipt showing I paid 648, the argued I only paid 325 even with proof! They charge for parking whether you use valet or not. I recommend you DO NOT use valet, I have a picture of the valet guy sleeping in my car!

Great stay at an exceptional...
Pros: The rooms were tastefully decorated and cozy. I had read that some travelers felt the rooms were small, but I felt they were plenty spacious for being a hotel room in such a great location. I also liked the use of shutters to help keep the room dark in the morning. Jordyn, the pool bartender, handled busy times at the pool bar with ease & made great drinks - all with a pleasant demeanor. The location cannot be beat.
Cons: Maybe consider an interior shower door handle that isn’t so sharp. Because of the bathroom space constraints, the shower is narrow & it’s easy to scrape yourself on the interior handle. Obviously, a minor issue, but something to be aware of. It would also be helpful to have a trash can out by the pool for throwing away cups & beer cans from the bar. There is only one bartender on staff & she was consistently busy & unable to go around picking up trash. Plus, it gets pretty windy by the pool & being able to throw away things that might otherwise blow away would be helpful.

Pros: The room itself was comfortable and, even though my room was by the elevator, it was quiet. Air conditioning worked great which is a must in Key West.
Cons: For some unexplained reason, I got no housekeeping service. A package was left for me at the front desk and had I not asked about it, I would not have received it (no message left on my phone). Front desk staff nice but a bit clueless
