Historic. An inviting wrap-around porch makes this 1884 sea captain's revival home a great location for leisurely dining. Seafood specialties are featured with other traditional entrées. The chef creates a menu with many options including a fried whole red snapper, black mussels in a black pepper cognac cream sauce and Hudson Valley duck breast. The restaurant prides itself in using select ingredients and locally caught fish such as grouper in blood orange beurre sauce. The restaurant dining area is closed between 4 and 5 p.m., but the bar is open with happy hour prices.
