The Murals of Lake Placid

The Murals of Lake Placid are downtown. Forty-six colorful murals (some with sound) depict the history and ecology of the town and surrounding area. The artwork adorns town buildings and other structures, including fences and trash cans. Booklets for self-guiding tours can be purchased at shops and from the chamber of commerce, 18 N. Oak Ave.
