AAA Inspector Notes
With a private location just off the entrance of the luxurious hotel in which it's housed, this exquisite restaurant focuses on a dining experience as opposed to just another meal. Enter through the glass doors to the elegantly appointed dining room. Plush fabrics, etched glass, intricate wood moldings, throne chairs, first-class table settings, marble accents and back-lit wine closets lend to a defining elegance. The menu features a farm-to-table focus using locally sourced ingredients. Those with a refined palate will appreciate the degree to which the chef has gone to provide optimal foods. Creekstone Farms dry-aged beef, Swank Farms produce, quail, artisanal cheeses, organic caviar, Hudson Valley foie gras and Elysian Field lamb are just some of the high-quality items featured on the menu. If available, the bison tartare is absolutely amazing, as it just about melts in your mouth! Dish presentation is practically an explosion of art. The "Choc Eau Late" dessert was simply decadent and an excellent ending to an already wonderful dining experience. Service is cultivated, accomplished and refined. Several staff members will guide you along to ensure that you will be returning for another memorable dinner soon. Off-season hours of operation may vary.
