AAA Editor Notes
Bass Museum of Art, 2100 Collins Ave., features a permanent collection of Renaissance and Baroque paintings, sculpture and textiles as well as temporary exhibitions of art from around the world in five galleries, including the Egyptian Gallery, of the 1930 Art Deco building. Educational programs, lectures and live performances also are offered; guided tours are available by appointment.
Note: The museum is closed for renovations until fall 2016. During this time, temporary exhibits can be found across the street in Miami Beach Regional Library's first floor and outside at Collins Park until summer 2016; phone ahead to confirm schedule and admission rates.
