Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU, 301 Washington Ave., is housed in two adjacent buildings formerly used as synagogues within the Art Deco district. The core exhibit depicts Jewish life in Florida since 1763. Temporary exhibits also are presented. Films, a timeline wall of Jewish history and a research center are available. Guided area walking tours and food tours are offered by advance reservation.
