In the heart of the Art Deco area and nestled quietly on the beach, this hotel features an Asian Deco style that is unparalleled. Spacious units are engulfed in luxury. The lobby is steeped in dark woods to create a calming aura and appeal. The flooring is actually twelfth- and thirteenth-century Shanghai brick inlays. Just off of the lobby sits the serenity pool. This particular pool has a special feng shui arrangement to it, which is a Chinese philosophy that governs spatial arrangement and orientation in relation to patterns of the flow of energy. Unfortunately, you cannot swim or wade in this pool, but there are three pools available for guests' recreation. Each pool is heated at a different temperature: 75 degrees, 85 degrees and 95 degrees. Ladies and gentleman alike can embrace tranquility and serenity of the spa while utilizing this fine facility. There is also a state-of-the-art health club on site, which has everything you need for a total body workout. The guest rooms mirror that of the public areas in relation to the Asian theme. There are different layouts, including residences that feature a walk-out balcony and full kitchen. It's interesting to note that the hotel was blessed by a Buddhist monk before it opened.
Smoke free premises. 124 units, some kitchens and condominiums. 7-41 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).
Cons: One night we found a couple of cockroaches in the bathroom.
Pros: The staff is super caring and help you with all of your needs.
My fiancé and i got a tour of our room and the staff member asked if we were celebrating anything. We told her that it was our anniversary. Later that night, when we got back from the pool, we find this kind of smores lava ball with a gold design on top with berries on the side and Happy Anniversary written in chocolate. Also we received a bottle of champagne.
We missed the complimentary yoga on the beach in the morning but we were able to make it to our couples massage on time. (Not complimentary) again worth every penny!
Cons: What didn't i like, cannot be answered. This place is wonderful and is so worth every penny. Maybe the 72$ for a two person continental breakfast was a tad absurd but then again its worth it because the food was amazing.
Pros: The attention off all staff, and beautiful arquitecttual design, great amenities in rooms
family with older children
Pros: I have been coming to the setai for many years - sometimes even staying at the residents appartments. The location is great. The atmosphere of the clientele is great - nice families and guests in general. Staff are cheerful, polite and helpful.
Cons: Hotel is now in real need of refurbishment.it's getting seriously old and worned off - I could see this time that even things like beach beds were dirty, rooms very tired and generally the hotel needs a good overall 'scrub'.
Pros: atmosphere. not a big hotel , just off the heat of south beach but yet in the heart of it! pool bar staff so cool! pools are great
Pros: Staff and location are good
Cons: The room has no sound proof windows. You just can not sleep.
Pros: Very high class hotel, great staff, beach and location.
One of the best I've been lucky enough to stay in.
Cons: Quite expensive for all right reasons, but expensive
Pros: This place is top of the line all the way through. From check in to check out it was white glove service.

Pros: Warm welcoming, amazing rooms, access to everything. The Setai went far and beyond my expectations, the food in the grill restaurant was some of the best I have had in my life, the service - outstanding. The concierge combined with the Alice app lets you book dinner, order poolside drinks and request housekeeping. Simply amazing stay.
Cons: Nothing. It was perfect.
Pros: Very close to the beach and Miami Beach city center. Nice, well equiped quiet room. Nice architectural add-ons.
Cons: The staff is doing their best, but that is not enough in this kind of place. Lines by the breakfast, little flies, a slow beach team. That's no problem, but you do want to pay the prices then just for the location.
