Farolito means "little lamppost" and is an appropriate name for this restaurant that has stood as a beacon of tasty Peruvian gastronomy since opening its doors in 1986. Seafood and grilled meats are done Peruvian style with a focus on ceviches and tiraditos. Among creations served at this long established restaurant are seco de carne (beef stew in cilantro sauce), pulpo al olivo (octopus in black olive sauce), and bistec a la plancha (flank-grilled steak.) For a hearty soup try the "Chupe."
