This eatery is part of a growing concept of fast, casual restaurants where table service is emphasized less and higher quality food with more complexity takes center stage. After years honing his skills in Asia, Chef Richard brings his own interpretation of cuisines from Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines. The savory sous vide duck sandwich is rich with flavor, the bao buns are stuffed with pork cooked for 8 hours and the hearty "Big Bowls" have an amazing array of ingredients. Be sure to pick up one of the giant cookies, like the red velvet, snickerdoodle or peanut butter (my favorite), displayed at the counter and lovingly baked by the chef's wife.
