Naples Botanical Garden is at 4820 Bayshore Dr. Covering a 170-acre site, this botanical garden balances seven natural habitats with nine cultivated gardens connected by 2.5 miles of trails. The 90 acres of restored preserves feature native flora and fauna. The more formally cultivated areas include an Asian garden, a Brazilian garden, a children's garden, a Caribbean garden, the Scott Florida garden, an orchid garden and a water garden.

Wed.-Mon. 9-5, Tues. 8-5, early Oct. through May 31; daily 8-3, rest of year. Last admission 1 hour before closing. Closed Christmas and mid- to late Sept. for annual maintenance. Allow 2 hours minimum.
