Restaurants are aplenty throughout downtown, but this one should not be passed up. A club-like ambience prevails here via orange hues, dim lighting, eclectic designs and light music pumping in the background. The chef and his staff have created a menu utilizing innovative cooking techniques and daring twists on timeless classics. Recommendations include tuna tartare, miso-marinated sea bass and a New York strip steak. Much of the menu changes seasonally as to keep offerings as fresh as possible. The veranda seating, which is what this inspector recommends on a cool night, provides a nice atmosphere with charming 5th Avenue as a backdrop. Upstairs seating is only available October through April.
