Dudley Farm Historic State Park, 18730 W. Newberry Rd., showcases the lifestyle of the Dudley family from the 1850s to the 1940s. A visitor center has family artifacts and shows a short film about the farm's history. A self-guiding tour allows visitors to see the homestead's 18 restored buildings, including the family's home and original furniture, detached kitchen, general store, potato cellar, barns, stables and syrup-making house. A hiking trail features wildflowers, grapevines, magnolia trees and live oaks, and gardens bloom March through May with heirloom roses, amaryllis and larkspur. Living history events take place throughout the year.
