Lake Eola Park, 3 blks. from the center of town on E. Central Blvd., has stately trees and flowering plants and shrubs. In the center of Lake Eola is the colorfully lighted Linton E. Allen Memorial Fountain. Several swan species are at home in the lake. The park also has swan paddleboats, gondolas, a playground and a Sunday farmers market. Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.). Picnicking is permitted. Food is available.
Park and playground free. Paddleboats $15 per half-hour (five adults per boat). Gondolas $15 per half-hour (four adults per boat).

Hours: Grounds daily 6 a.m.-midnight. Playground daily 7 a.m.-10 p.m. Paddleboats and gondolas Wed.-Sat. 10-10, Sun.-Tues. 10-7 (weather permitting). Sunday Eola Market 10-4.
