The set design here is that of a downtown Havana café with Cuban tunes pumping in the background. The dining room is dimly lit in an attempt to capture a cigar bar kind of feel, but the patio offers guests a lighter ambience with prime people-watching opportunities. The menu features such traditional favorites as the Cuban sandwich, ropa vieja, arroz con pollo and paella. Modern twists include suntan salmon and mango mojito shrimp. Speaking of mojito, try the coconut one with the meal. The mojitos here are from scratch and made with only the freshest ingredients, much like the food. Dine early if you're looking for quality Cuban food in a subdued environment. The later it gets here, the more bustling the environment.
