On the bottom floor of a luxurious hotel, this hip eatery offers up Southern cuisine with a modern twist. Menu items include duck gumbo, fried green tomatoes, shrimp and grits, chicken picnic and pig-n-potatoes (a devilish concoction of potato hash, pulled pork, a poached egg and Hollandaise sauce). Make it a true Southern meal by adding collard greens or mashed potatoes. Many of the herbs, spices and produce come from their 7,000-square-foot on-site farm. The décor, accented perfectly with rustic woods, barrels, lanterns and soft lighting, also delivers on the Southern theme.
