The hotel was extremely clean,...
Pros: Perfect location. One of the cleanest hotels I’ve been in! The staff was always friendly. The room was decent in size, updated, and the bed was comfortable.
Cons: We were told one of the pools was heated but neither of them actually appeared to be. During the day it was fine, but it would have been nice to relax in a heated pool in the evenings.

Other then my 2 instances...
Pros: The rooms were excellent. The view was fantastic.. Hampton Inn overall was a great place to stay for my 4 nights. The front desk staff was extremely helpful - always pleasant and willing to fulfill any request.
Cons: One morning my daughter and I went down to get breakfast.. an older gentleman had requested 2 water bottles from the kitchen.. shortly after I walked over with my 11 year old daughter and requested a water bottle.. the lady in the kitchen huffed with disgust and rolled her eyes at me as she walked over to retrieve a bottle of water. My daughter looked at me and said "well that was kind of rude". I didn't think my request was too out of the ordinary, and definitely didn't appreciate the attitude at a hotel I'm paying to stay. Also - it seems the cleaning staff moves extremely slow.. our room was attended to twice while we were there.. and all they did was come in and straighten the beds. There were 2 days that I emptied my own garbage cans and carried them downstairs. Also - on second to last day - we were running a little short on toilet paper. I walked down the hall and asked a lady from the cleaning staff for a roll.. her cart was all the way down the hall. She says "well I guess I can walk all the way back down there and get it for you" The cleaning staff was far from friendly and even further from be anything close to willing to help or actually clean. This was extremely disappointing.

It was terrible
Pros: The hotel was clean
Cons: There was a spider in the room on the ceiling. A hotel employee walked into the room after we had settled in and were laying in bed. The hotel was under construction on the bottom floor, which was not disclosed in the website info. The room said it was able to sleep six people, there were only two beds and no pull out couch.
