This place has been here since 1954 and has hands down some of the best pulled pork and beef brisket in the area. Their sweet barbecue sauce is yummy!
AAA Inspector Notes
Classic. This popular family-owned and -operated spot has restaurant roots in this quaint country town dating back to 1954. Three generations of family have run the barbecue using Grandpa Elton's slow-cooked methods. They are known for pit barbecue serving such specialties as St. Louis ribs, pork, beef brisket, turkey and chicken. Also offered are grouper, shrimp, oyster, clam and catfish dishes. The staff is pleasant and the surroundings offer a cozy country feel.
