Eden Gardens State Park and Wesley House is at 181 Eden Gardens Rd. Magnolias, colorful camellias and azaleas, a historic rose garden and live oaks draped in Spanish moss surround an 1897 antebellum mansion filled with Colonial, Empire and Victorian furnishings. The house was built on the site of a lumber mill owned by William H. Wesley. A Civil War encampment is held in late January. Forty-five-minute guided tours of the mansion are offered.
