Pros: You usually don't see extra items like Gravy and biscuits!! The rooms were great, very quite. Was surprised to find a designated hall with with rooms for people with all types of disabilities, such as hearing and visual. This hotel had a great location, close to atractions, beach and normal tourists stuff.
Cons: Seating for the breakfast area is pretty limited, This area in the state (Florida) had a tropical storm warring with flooding and evacuations occurring. While the lobby tv stayed on the situation, tourist had no clue it effected them. One of the staff putting up the breakfast overheard our conversation and advised us to stay away from the beach. It would have been nice to see the hotel post something in the lobby for tourist attractions, beaches etc that were closed. The beach for this area was an island with a mile long single lane road surounded by Everglade/swamp waters. The fast rising waters could trap a tourist unfamiliar with Florida storms/hurricanes. Most of the tourist areas were in flooding/evacuation zones. Customer service is about keeping the customer safe and wanting them to return,it would have been "above and beyond" for a hotel to make tourist feel that the staff really cared. Oh yeah, Our hotel was without power for 10-15 minutes and was in the evacuation zone, while we didn't need to, we joked that we would return and everyone would have left and we wouldn't have been notified. That storm turned into a hurricane. The staff was friendly, but you need to ask them questions in weather conditions.
