Since opening its doors in 1983, this restaurant has been one of the most popular restaurants in the area. Referring to its menu as urban cuisine, dishes draw from a slew of influences from around the world—Mexican, Italian, Cajun, Mediterranean, European, Southern, Asian and Caribbean. The menu is casual, but does offer such specialty items as escargot, New York strip and lamb. The atmosphere is casual with an eclectic décor. Purple, yellow and teal give the restaurant a vibrant aura, which is mirrored by the staff. Paintings from local artists, which are for sale, decorate the walls. Colorful and peppy servers assist in assuring that you have a pleasant experience. The surprise menu changes daily, which is served in hearty portions. Mainstays include black bean soup, Key lime pie and peanut butter pie.
