Historic. Step back in time at this distinctive eatery housed in a former ice plant with waitstaff attired in dress reminiscent of the 1920s. In the center of the room is a back-to-back mirror image bar with seating for diners on each side. While the décor is edgy the cuisine will wow diners as the chef prepares an array of small plates, appetizers and full-size entrées using local and specialty-sourced products. The steak tartare melts in your mouth and the grouper tacos have a flavorful crunch. From the local cheese board and smoked fish dip to the barbecue pork belly and gnocchi with lamb ragu, the distinct flavors and eye-catching preparations will leave you pleasantly pleased. The hand-crafted cocktails use six different types of ice and are prepared with precision and balance. The restaurant is closed for lunch on Saturday and Sunday and a bar atmosphere prevails after 10 pm.
