Historic. Nestled inside an 1879 Victorian home, thus adding to the allure of one the most popular places to eat in town, this spot offers several indoor dining rooms as well as a brick courtyard complete with private gazebo seating and tiki torches. On a clear night the courtyard is the place to be seen with its casual romance underneath the stars. The menu features cuisine with such selections as steaks, fresh seafood, pastas, meatloaf and salads. Specialty items are scattered throughout the menu with such selections as Canadian mussels, escargot, Maryland crab cakes, roasted duckling and New Zealand rack of lamb. The chef also features a fresh catch every night. The water is just a stone's throw away so you can be assured the catch is fresh. The service is skilled with some staff members that have been working here since it opened as a restaurant in 1981. If you need assistance with wine, your server will help. If you need assistance with deciding on what to eat, your server can help with that, too. Just sit back, relax and enjoy a fabulous setting and great food. Only day closed is Christmas.
