This is my go to spot when on the island. The restaurant is steeped in history and has had a local following since 1938. The fresh seafood is awesome!
AAA Inspector Notes
Classic. Dating back to 1938, this eatery has an old Florida feel, displaying nostalgic postcards and local articles of yesteryear. Enjoy menu favorites such as the Cuban black beans and yellow rice or specialty sandwiches such as the Cajun chicken, fried cod, turkey Reuben or various burgers. Key lime pie is a great way to end your meal. Great breakfast items include pancakes, French toast, biscuits and sausage gravy, and omelets.
