When wandering the inviting hotel lobby, I direct my footsteps to the Grand Bohemian Gallery to view the impressive art collection.
AAA Inspector Notes
Since 1888 this historic property has served many functions, including as a courthouse. Rooms are tastefully appointed and include imported furnishings. Enjoy the amenities of the Serenata Beach Club. Public areas have a Moorish theme, complete with hand-painted and hand-stenciled designs, 14K-gold accents and a variety of for-sale artwork adorning the walls. Classic, vintage 1920s vehicles sit just inside the entrance. Due to the U-shape design of the hotel, guests enjoy either a view of the pool area or of the city. Visit the petite pool, which is beautifully accented. Live music is featured two nights a week and during Sunday brunch.
Smoke free premises. 138 units, some two and three bedrooms. 5 stories, interior corridors.
