AAA Inspector Notes
The property is a short drive from the international airport and mall as well as several sporting venues. Guest rooms, though somewhat smaller, are pleasing and decorated in dark wood tones. The lobby is quite appealing with an upscale decor style and soothing sand and gray tones. There is a popular nationally known coffee shop located right on site. If you are up for a swim, they have a large dual purpose pool. It is great for those days when the weather becomes inclement, as you can still use it by simply swimming right into a covered section. Smoke free premises. 310 units. 13 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

Pros: welcoming atomsphere
Cons: pricey resturant

Pros: Bed was very confortable
Cons: I booked a room with double beds 3 months in advance. When I got there they said they only had a king size bed I asked them if I wait 3 more hours can I get double beds the staff told me most likely. One I came back several hours later they told me that they could not accommodate me with double beds. They then said that they can give me a blow up bed. My guest slept on a blow up bed however an hour later the bed was flat with a hole in the mattress that was there prior to giving us the bed my guest then had to sleep on the floor the next morning I explained to the staff that there was a hole in the mattress and my guest had to sleep on the floor. They said they would bring us up a roll up bed. Again never offered us any compensation for the hole in the bed and my guest sleeping on the floor. When I arrived back at my room they put the roll up bed upright with garbage bags Tied to the mattress and never took the old blow up bed with a hole in it out. When I talked to the manager about my situation she understood and gave me two 5 dollar continental breakfast vouchers and that was my whole compensation. I was also told I would have had double beds if I did not go through and went directly through Marion. I have to say I would not go to the Mariot at westshore again or use if I'm going to be treated like that.

Pros: Friendly staff. Palatial Surroundings. All Class "A" facility. Starbucks on main floor was a hit for my wife.
Cons: Price was possibly jacked because of concert, but wasn't going to spare anything for my wifes bucket list experience. Paying half this would have been expensive normally!

Pros: The staff was excellent. They let me stored fish I caught in their freezer because there was not one in the room. They let me check in early. The shuttle to the airport was on time. They always had a positive attitude.
Cons: There was no fridge or microwave in the room. The king bed took up most of the room. A little more space would have been nice. Also, charging for wifi is ridiculously in this day of age. That alone is enough to make me stay elsewhere next time. It was $12+ dollars a day.
