George Inness Jr. Pictures, in the Unitarian Universalist Church at 230 Grand Blvd., contains 12 paintings by George Inness Jr., son of the renowned American 19th-century landscape artist. The paintings depict his extraordinary treatment of light and use of green tones that were named after him. Inness is known for his love of nature and deep spirituality.
Parking is behind the church. Note: The paintings are temporarily in storage while the church is under renovation; the exhibit's tentative reopening is planned for late fall 2016. Phone ahead to confirm availability and schedule.
