The stay was fabulous. We...
Pros: Erica, our property manager, was fabulous! She made it so easy for us. Close to everything--beach, groceries, drug stores, shops.
Cons: The bathroom fan was very loud but that was the only negative thing.

Publix is literally one block away- great since every unit has a full kitchen. Treasure Island itself is lovely- quiet, family friendly, etc. Although it was just my husband and I on this trip we mentioned how comfortable we would be staying there with our teenage girls and even letting them walk to Publix and/or the beach unsupervised. On the flip said we went up to Clearwater on night for a catamaran tour and it was the opposite extreme- very busy, more of a party feel. The room was amazing and had everything we could have asked for. The hotel does provide beach towels and accessories (chairs, buckets and shovels, umbrellas) on a simply honor system- just take, use, put back- no sign out, etc. I was most impressed with the grounds/ common spaces- the landscaping was beautiful and everything was kept nice and in great condition. We found ourselves spending more time at the hotel than anywhere else because it was truly sooooo beautiful. We brought coffee and a light breakfast out to the tables and chairs next to the pool every morning and enjoyed most evennings there too with a Happy Hour of choice we would pick up at Publix on our way back from the beach. LOVED Westwinds- can't say enough about it and look forward to returning if not possible buying a unit there!!
Pros: Location was IDEAL- the bay was right out our back door and even more beautiful than pictures showed. The ocen is literally just across the street. Room was outstanding, clean, nice, large with everything we needed. The common areas were immaculate.
Cons: First floor room was great- not sure I would have enjoyed the 2nd or 3rd story as much as they do not have balconys.
