LEGOLAND Florida Resort, 4 mi. w. on SR 540 at jct. US 27 and SR 540 at 1 LEGOLAND Way, offers themed zones on 150 acres with more than 50 family-oriented interactive attractions, shows and rides, including four rollercoasters. Some 65 million LEGO bricks were used in the construction of the zones, including Miniland USA, which features such miniaturized cities and places as Las Vegas; Washington, D.C.; New York City; Florida, featuring Daytona International Speedway and Kennedy Space Center.
Other zones include the toddler-oriented DUPLO Valley; Fun Town, featuring a 4D theater and carousel; Star Wars: The Force Awakens MINILAND Model Display; medieval-themed LEGO Kingdoms; LEGO Technic, featuring the Project X roller coaster test track and AQUAZONE Wave Racers; Imagination Zone, where guests can build cars and robots from LEGOS; Pirates' Cove, a water stunt show; Land of Adventure, where riders take adventurous journeys through a prehistoric jungle and ancient Egypt; LEGO City, a child-sized “town” where kids can drive a LEGO car and receive a LEGOLAND Florida driver's license; and Heartlake City, an area based on LEGO Friends. The World of Chima features The Quest for CHI, an interactive water ride. Guests on LEGO NINJAGO The Ride blast animated missiles at villains. A botanical garden also is on the grounds.
