AAA Inspector Notes
Geared toward children, this resort is LEGO themed. Kids have their own bunk bed area while adults can relax in their own space. The pirate-, adventure- and kingdom-themed rooms are popular. There is a plethora of things to do here when guests are not at the park, which is located right next door. Set on Lake Eloise, there are boardwalks to walk and view wildlife, a fire pit area to relax beside at night, a LEGO club room with movies, a splash pad by the expansive swimming pool and even a Master LEGO builder's workshop with classes. Smoke free premises. 152 two-bedroom units. 5 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

Pros: Spend the extra $$$ and stay at the resort, your kids will forever love you for it!!! There is so much for them to do with the pool and the master building classes along with many activities for them to enjoy. The kids are constantly building from the many tables they have inside the resort and park. The rooms are awesome as well. Good breakfast buffet, well stocked with a variety of food for everyone. Staff is very friendly. Our kids did not want to leave and have commented to friends on how much better they liked it over Disney (everything truly is designed for kids 2-12). Great time by whole family!!
Cons: Save your money on the dinner buffet and go out to the restaurants or grocery stores which are across the street. Many to choose from and you do not have to drive far. You will pay high Disney food prices inside the park as well and the food is not that great, pack your own if you can. Too bad Legoland waterpark doesnt have a separate entrance. You must enter Legoland Park and walk all the way to the rear in order to gain entrance into the waterpark. When you have small kids it can make for a long walk if you didn't bring a stroller.

Pros: The separate area in the room with bunk beds for the kids is wonderful. You really get a lot of value for the price especially compared to staying a Disney value resort.
Cons: The Skyline Lounge was overpriced for the quality of food served. And they closed the pool on our check out day with no notice so we didn't get to use it as planned.
