Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta Visitors Center and Monetary Museum is at the corner of Peachtree and 10th sts. at 1000 Peachtree St. N.E. (MARTA: Midtown station). Established in 1914, the Reserve Bank is one of twelve composing the Federal Reserve System. Tours include a view of the site's automated vault and cash-processing procedures; multimedia displays focusing on the history and evolution of U.S. and global banking and currency; and Banker's Challenge, an interactive exhibit examining how banks earn profit, manage risk and provide security to customers.
