Flint RiverQuarium, at 101 Pine Ave., features a 175,000-gallon, blue-hole spring aquarium that is home to more than 120 varieties of aquatic life. The Flint River Gallery contains freshwater and saltwater tanks as well as a live fish hatchery. Discovery Caverns allows children to learn about nature through interactive exhibits.
The World of Water draws comparisons between rivers around the globe and Flint River. An aviary showcases birds and waterfowl native to the Flint River watershed. RiverQuarium Imagination Theater shows nature and adventure films.
