Clark Atlanta University Art Galleries is located on the second floor of Trevor Arnett Hall (Building #6) at 223 James P. Brawley Dr. S.W. Works in the permanent collection of 1,200 paintings, sculptures, prints, photographs and quilts constitute one of the larger and more historically significant African-American art collections. The Art of the Negro murals in the atrium, created 1950-51 by celebrated artist and teacher Hale Woodruff, illustrates African-American visual history. Changing exhibits also are featured.
