The Children's Museum of Atlanta

The Children's Museum of Atlanta is at 275 Centennial Olympic Park Dr. N.W. (MARTA: Peachtree Center and CNN Center stations). Geared toward children 8 years of age and under, the museum offers six permanent learning zones featuring exhibits, a variety of hands-on learning activities and special programs. Participants can engage in such activities as painting on walls, creating sand sculptures, launching a rocket, operating a robot, fishing in a pond and operating pulleys and levers on a giant ball machine. Traveling exhibits also are presented. Educational programs are offered throughout the year.

Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
