Pros: The proximity to the event I was attending
Cons: Like a lot of others, it wasn't until after I confirmed my booking that I saw the bit about renovations, so the lack of multiple working elevators, restaurant, and bar were very disappointing. The construction noise, dirt, and dust were, unfortunately, expected. I had to run the shower at the highest temp for at least 10 minutes to get lukewarm water (seriously ran it 3 minutes, realized it wasn't getting hot, kept it running while I took the elevator from the 11th floor down to the lobby to notify the front desk since my room phone wasn't working and calling the lobby from my cell phone just continuously rang, took the elevator back up to the 11th floor and waited another 5 minutes for maintenance to show up. He proceeded to sound annoyed with me when I made my complaint and said the pressure and temperature would be low as they were working on water pipes earlier. He walked into the bathroom (muddy boots and gloves and all) checked the lukewarm temp and said that would probably be as good as it gets. Seriously. Had to walk down to the lobby for coffee cups, as our room was not stocked with any (had everything else, just no cups) The sliding shower door doesn't stay closed. LOTS of dust in the room meant LOTS of sneezing throughout the night. The "solution" to not having a breakfast option at the hotel is walking next door to the Waffle House for breakfast and getting 15% off for being a hotel customer. No thanks. While I realize the renovations interfered with a lot, the price and not being able to cancel and book somewhere else left me with an overall negative experience.

Pros: The bed was very comfortable, and the staff did an excellent job on my room each day.
Cons: Because the Inn at Centennial Park was still under renovation, it was not as clean as I like. The lack of a clean elevator made a particularly bad first impression.
