family with young children
Pros: I love the decor and location of the property. The room was decent, but still had several discrepancies. Alicia from the Bar, Kim from IRD, and Annette from Guest Experience from AMAZING, they truly gave me a sense of that good old southern hospitality, and the rest of the staff could really use a lesson from these three talented individuals.(I.e. Darnell from IRD, Brie from Whatever/whenever) nevertheless, aside from the numerous issues I had with this property, these three indidviduals truly left a great impression.
Cons: Wow where do I start. I was initially suppose to be checked into a fabulous room, but was given a standard which was not what I payed for. I called the hotel before arriving to make sure my room was ready, and Brie from whatever/whenever told me that my room was ready and the amenity I payed for several weeks in advance through staramentes was placed in the room as well. When I got their not only did I have to wait for the room, when I got their the amenity I had anticipated so much was not placed in the room like the lady told me. In addition, I had a do not disturb sign on the door, because I went to the gym while my kids who are under 18 years old were in the room, and Darnell from IRD, still entered the room after knocking only a few times and without giving accurate time for my kids to even open the door. Secondly, every time We left the hotel to explore the city around 11/12 I requested for my room to be cleaned, and would come back in the evening to my room still being dirty....I was so frustrated the last day that I had no choice but to demand being put into another room. Thankfully the front desk agent understood. Lastly on last day their, me and my children were on the way to the Georgia Aquarium, so I had to print out our tickets. I figured it would be a easy/quick task given the hotel had a business center called Wired....which if you look in he elevator says it's located on the fourth(4th) floor where the meeting spaces are, which it was actually located at a bar on the second floor called the Drinkshop which I believed is close due to slow season, but the location of the computer was very shocking, because any Starwood hotel, I've never seen a wired station looking like this one. Nevertheless, I still used it, and after I put my card info and gained access, the computers internet was not working in addition to the printer, so that was pretty much a waste of 10 dollars.
