Lucy Craft Laney Museum of Black History

Lucy Craft Laney Museum of Black History is at 1116 Phillips St. The museum is the former home of Lucy Craft Laney, an innovative and renowned educator, and houses exhibits detailing Ms. Laney's contributions to the field of education. Also featured are permanent and temporary displays of art and memorabilia collections, as well as a garden at which plants and flowers common during Laney's lifetime (1854-1933) appear.
