Formerly located in a small shack on Jekyll Island, the family built their own casually upscale eatery just off the island in Brunswick. The same great food thrives here with shrimp and grits being the house specialty. Several other local seafood dishes make an appearance including the Lowcountry boil and house crab cakes. For landlubbers grilled steaks are king and there is a 16-ounce rib-eye or a petite six-ounce sirloin for a lighter meal. A raw bar delights the shellfish aficionado with plenty of peel-and-eat shrimp, fresh local oysters, crawfish and imported succulent snow crab clusters. All of which go great with a cold draught. After dinner try one of the made-in-house desserts.
