Blue and Gray Museum is in the Municipal Building (former train Depot) at 116 N. Johnston St. The museum’s centerpiece, the Hall of Honor, celebrates the Civil War veterans who founded Fitzgerald in the 1890s; veterans of other wars also are recognized. The video documentary “Marching as One” relates the city’s history. The museum also features items from the estate of Confederate president Jefferson Davis as well as rare Civil War swords, guns, documents and quilts.
