AAA Editor Notes
Georgia Sea Turtle Center is at 214 Stable Rd. in the Jekyll Island Historic Landmark District. The center is an educational, rehabilitation and research center for sick and injured sea turtles. An interactive exhibit gallery features engaging displays documenting the life cycle of a sea turtle. Rehabilitating turtles are displayed in several aquatic tanks. Educational talks are given throughout the day. Evening turtle walks and morning sunrise walks are offered in summer and focus on the natural history of sea turtles; a guided beach tour is included. A behind-the-scenes tour provides an up-close view of the center.

Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
