Georgia Rural Telephone Museum is .2 mi. s. off US 280 on SR 195. Self-guiding tours of the museum showcase its vast collection of telephone memorabilia from the 19th and 20th centuries. Displays in a renovated 1920s cotton warehouse include early telephones, pay phones, phone booths, switchboards, a Model A Ford truck (much like those used by telephone companies in the 1920s), other vintage cars and utility vehicles and a replica of Alexander Graham Bell's workshop.
