Freaking fantastic. We tried to find a hotel in downtown ATL near the coke factory and aquarium. After deciding we didn't want to spend 250+ for full-size beds and an additional 30 for parking, we set our eyes on the major adjacent metropolis known as McDonough. The Hampton Inn was affordable, clean, and the beds were like lying in the gentle bosom of a Greek goddess after spending 6 hours looking at whale sharks and suckling that sweet Atlanta nectar known as coke. And they were real queen beds too! The breakfast the next day was "pretty decent" as rated by my 8 year old, especially considering it was included in the hotel costs. The cheese souffle was fluffy with only the finest of Vermont cheddar deliciously folded into the obviously free-ranged eggs. Overall, I would agree with my two year old when she proclaimed "behold, this is the finest of Georgia hotels I have ever had the honor of laying my head".

Pros: Check in clerk at 11:30pm provided breakfast foods without having to request them for me after airline troubles prevented meals since 6:30 am. She also printed a more direct local route for the following days car travel letting me have extra sleep.
Cons: No one to accompany a female alone at very late night arrivals back into the hotel after parking their vehicle. I am a female who travels alone. This Hampton Inn was in a secluded cul de sac, eliminated all interstate noise, great for rest but scary

Pros: Location was perfect.
Cons: They were unorganized & unprepared for my check-in. The rooms weren't ready @ the time of check-in, they say if was b/c they were "short" on housekeepers. I was extremely annoyed by thisl& felt uneasy about the level of thorough cleanliness of my room.
