AAA Editor Notes
Pin Point Heritage Museum, 9924 Pin Point Ave., chronicles the life and culture of the Gullah Geechee community settled by freedmen in 1890. The museum is located in what was once the A.S. Varn & Son Oyster and Crab Factory, the main source of income of the fishing community until 1985 when the factory shut its doors.

Admission
$8; $4 (ages 2-12). A combination ticket is available that offers admission to three of the following five sites: Georgia State Railroad Museum, Savannah Children’s Museum, Savannah History Museum, Old Fort Jackson and Pin Point Heritage Museum.

Thurs.-Sat. 9-5. Closed Jan. 1, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
