Tricentennial Park is a family-friendly attraction where visitors can learn about the history of Savannah, including the American Revolution and Civil War, as well as the rich culture of Georgia’s coast. The park consists of Savannah History Museum, 303 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., and Georgia State Railroad Museum and Savannah Children's Museum, both at 655 Louisville Rd.
Georgia State Railroad Museum $10; $6 (ages 2-12). Savannah Children's Museum $7.50; free (under 18 months). Savannah History Museum $7; $4 (ages 2-12). A combination ticket is available that offers admission to three of the following five sites: Georgia State Railroad Museum, Savannah Children’s Museum, Savannah History Museum, Old Fort Jackson and Pin Point Heritage Museum.
Hours: Georgia State Railroad Museum daily 9-5. Savannah Children's Museum (weather permitting) Mon.-Sat. 9-2, June-Aug; Wed.-Sat. 10-4, Sun. 11-4, rest of year. Savannah History Museum daily 9-5:30. Closed Jan. 1, Thanksgiving and Christmas; phone ahead to confirm holiday hours.
