Solid two star. Not more, not less.
Pros: This is an older hotel, plain, adequate for travelers.
Cons: Trash at bottom of stairwell was not collected from can at 9:30am or so. In fact it was overflowing.

Pros:
Cons: It was run down and dirty. House keeping didn't announce themselves before they tried to open the door. I'm glad I flipped the latch. She just very lightly knocked once and unlocked the door. I opened it and looked at her and she said, "just checking"!

Pros: Decent nightly rate
Cons: Second time we have stayed there and both times they have messed up our room assignment. They put us in a handicap room this time because they had no other King rooms available that were non-smoking. Breakfast is pretty lousy.

The hotel and staff were fine. What I didn't realize is that this was a pet friendly hotel and my room was adjoined on both sides by dogs that barked until 2:00 in the morning. Add to that the street out front sounded like they were having drag races every time they left the red light. Also the phone didn't work, so I couldn't call to complain. I maybe got 3 hours of sleep at the most.
Pros: The room was clean and freshly painted
Cons: Dogs barking all night, loud car noise from the street and phone didn't work
