AAA Inspector Notes
Inspector Pick (Eclectic/Unusual): I love this quirky property with its many on-site diversions from the antique hat collection to the art galleries and eclectic decor.
This lushly appointed Victorian mansion exudes an aura of refinement and class in its high-end appointments and amenities. All rooms offer original works of art, plush bedding and oversize tubs. You'll also find the latest technology so you can enjoy the ultimate in luxury and stay connected. Along with the many listed amenities there is an on-site culinary school and art gallery. With beautiful downtown Savannah just blocks away, you'll have it all. Smoke free premises. 125 units. 4 stories, interior corridors.

Pros: Location
Cons: The concierge floor was disappointing. In the past there was a wonderful happy hour with great wines and tasty appetizers. Of coarse you pay for it by being on this floor. This time there was water and bags of chips with no attendant. We were told that wine and appetizers are no longer available. Breakfast was available but not as elaborate as before. This was disappointing as there is no change in the price of the rooms. Actually the rooms on the lower level are bigger than the concierge level. Don't waste your money

Pros: Front desk staff let us have a late check-out and sent a free bottle of champagne for our anniversary.
Cons: The loud banging of the doors to other rooms the next morning. The upstairs lounge is closed 3 days a week.
